New horse for Alexa Westendarp
Cafe's Caletta is the name of Alexa Westendarp's new partner.
There was also already a joint tournament premiere of the two.
"I am more than satisfied. That was really fun!", the former European team champion commented on her ride. The judges also shared her opinion and rated the round with 72.763 percent.
The joint task of the two was no less a test than an Inter II. In the overall classification, it then ultimately means 4th place.
In the dressage sport Cafe's Caletta is no stranger. She is owned by the Kasselmann family and was already presented by Emile Faurie in international dressage competitions. Now Alexa Westendarp climbed into the saddle.
The fact that the Café au Lait daughter should actually be a show jumper according to her pedigree does not bother the trained rider: "Caletta is very people-oriented and we have already become good friends in the last few months. She has a great temperament - I don't have to drive her or slow her down - she has three very good gaits and a super dynamic. For me she is simply a complete horse. In every tour she has her highlights."
Boss of Hofgut Kasselmann, Bianca Kasselmann herself trains the pair. She is also Westendarp's employer.
She first completed training as a rider at Hof Kasselmann. She liked it so much there that she is currently still training to become an event manager.
Before and after the office chair she sits in the saddle of her own two horses The Prince and Four Seasons.
It seems that Alexa Westendarp is well equipped for the coming season.
