He has shown everyone once again. Why he is number one in the world rankings. Why he became double world champion in the summer and why he is decorated with an Olympic gold medal. It is no coincidence and no wonder that Henrik von Eckermann and his hero King Edward left nothing to be desired in the Rolex Top Ten Final at the CHI Geneve.
The ten best in the world ranking list competed against each other over two rounds. But only Henrik von Eckermann with his chestnut and the French rider Simon Delestre with his Cayman Jolly Jumper, who jumped almost like a nimble cat, managed a double clear round. The French rider had been the fastest in the first round and was therefore the last to start the second, modified round. Henrik von Eckermann had already finished his show in 48.42 seconds. Faultless, of course. The French rider also managed this, but was a little slower and crossed the finish line after 49.35 seconds. Third place behind Delestre went to Peder Fredricson with his Catch me Not S. The pair had played it safe in the round and had collected a time penalty point. In round 2, nothing more was added to the points account.

Henrik von Eckermann was blissfully happy after his victory: "It is simply unbelievable what has happened in the last two years," said the happy winner.
Mclain Ward came fourth after a lightning-fast round with Contagious. The pair circled the fastest second round in 46.89 seconds, but unfortunately one pole fell on the way to the finish. Fifth place went to Harrie Smolders and Monaco ahead of Marlon Modolo Zanotelli with Like a Diamond van het Schaeck.
