German team for youngster EC

One championship is currently chasing the next. After the youngsters in the dressage saddle have brought back many medals from Oliva Nova, the young show jumpers are now traveling to Vilamoura in Portugal for their European Championships. The teams of the Children, Juniors and Young Riders have been determined.


Finally top sport again, finally European Championships again - that's what the young show jumpers must be thinking as they set off for Portugal, where their championships will begin from Tuesday, July 20, 2021. In 2020, the European Championships had been postponed, and even now, due to the high incidence levels in Portugal, the German team's trip was on the line. With a sophisticated hygiene concept and a close-meshed testing strategy, the Children, Juniors and Young Riders can now be at the European Championships. These are the nominated pairs for Vilamoura:


Children (U14): Naomi Himmelreich (Niederbrechen) with Cornet's Adel, Paula Pahl (Jülich) with Easy Kolibra Mo, Tony Stormanns (Eschweiler) with Dia Nova, Fabio Thielen (Losheim) with Dede V, Lennard Tillmann (Grevenbroich) with Oreal Des Etains Z.


Juniors (U18): Johanna Beckmann (Löningen) with Alphajet DB, Mick Haunhorst (Hagen) with Ireland, Alia Knack (Sauldorf) with Campari, Lasse Nölting (Neustadt) with Lazio, Hanna Schreder (Regen) with Lakisha.


Young Riders (U21): Hannes Ahlmann (Reher) with Nerrado, Max Haunhorst (Hagen) with Chaccara, Sönke Fallenberg (Warendorf) with Chakira TF NRW, Matthis Westendarp (Wallenhorst) Stalido, Henrike Ostermann (Löningen) with Air Force One.
