First Competition for Martha Raupach und Francis Drake OLD

Since last October, 13-year-old Martha Raupach has been in the saddle of the extremely talented bay horse Francis Drake OLD. So far, Raupach has been successful in the pony camp. Now the two were able to win an L dressage with over 74% in Vechta last Saturday.

Francis Drake is no stranger to dressage connoisseurs. Francis Drake (Franklin x Don Schufro x Akzent II x Rondo) was sold as a foal to Helgstrand Dressage in 2016 for the sensational price of €82,000.
For a while he was supposed to be presented as a stallion for licensing, but was then not accepted. Helgstrand then put him to a gelding.

In terms of sport, he was able to convince across the board. He won multiple titles in both Denmark and Germany. He was able to qualify for the World Championships for young dressage horses and took 8th place in the final with Helgstrand rider Leonie Richter.

He certainly has a bright future ahead of him with Martha Raupach.
