If you follow the German dressage sport a little, this name should come as no surprise: Ellis.
Ellis is considered one of Germany's up-and-coming stars. And rightly so!
Already his pedigree makes German dressage hearts beat faster. His father is the famous dressage stallion "Escolar" was under Hubertus Schmidt already very successful at championships.
His mother is a Dimaggio daughter.
But his older sister is also no stranger to dressage. Ellis is the full brother of the Bundeschampionat and dressage horse World Championship finalist Espe. She is owned by the British dressage rider Annabella Pidgley. She is trained by none other than Cathrine Dufour.
So you could say that these are the best prerequisites for entering the big dressage sport yourself later on.

But Ellis could prove herself also already some times.
2018 took place first the licensing in Münster-Handorf. 2019 came then first victories in riding horse tests to the résumé of the chic brown.
As the only graduate with a 9 before the decimal point, he finished his 14-day test in Adelheidsdorf. He became Westphalia champion of four-year-old stallions and passed his second sport test in February 2021 with flying colors.

Ellis is currently ridden by Stefanie Wolf. He is owned by Reitanlage Sonnenbrink GmbH and stationed at Krüsterhof Hinnemann.
Yesterday, the stallion was presented for the first time in a dressage horse class A. He also won this with a dream score of 9.0.
Shortly thereafter Stefanie Wolf rode him also still in a dressage test of the class L.
Also here Ellis showed again his seemingly boundless talent. Here he also stood again in front. This time with a score of 8.8.

Ellis remains an interesting youngster that you should keep an eye on!
