(Klein Offenseth) Takashi Shibayama Haase is leaving the stallion station Maas J. Hell on November 1st and is handing over the "baton" to Philipp Schulze. Our head rider Takashi Haase is going to start his own business in Lower Saxony and in the future he will fully concentrate on his own show and sport stable. Philipp Schulze from Elmshorn has already successively taken over the training and schooling of the stallions and sport horses at the Maas J. Hell stallion station in Klein Offenseth over the past weeks and months to ensure an orderly transition.

Almost exactly four years to the day, Takashi Shibayama Haase was the figurehead of the renowned station as a rider, was able to celebrate remarkable successes with the station stallion Canstakko (Nations Cups, Olympic qualification) and had a significant influence on the development of stallions such as Central Park and Quiwi Capitol. "We are grateful to Takashi for that," says station owner Herbert Ulonska, "because it was always a good cooperation and characterized by mutual trust. But I also understand if Taka now wants to focus more on sports and go into business for himself." The contact will continue, even if Haase now no longer makes the trip from Ottendorf to Klein Offenseth every day.

Philipp Schulze has been at home with his sports stable in Ellerhoop near Elmshorn since the spring of 2021 and also looks after the stallions and sports horses at the Maas J. Hell stallion station. He is a trained horse manager for breeding and keeping and riding. Schulze completed his classical riding training with Gilbert Böckmann in Lastrup, one of the best international sport stables in Germany. In addition, Philipp Schulze worked for Paul Schockemöhle as well as for the Holsteiner Verband before setting up his own stable.

With the 40-year-old professional, the Maas J. Hell stallion station gains an outstanding and experienced trainer, who has also already identified a first "favorite". "Colcannon is my 'body and stomach horse`," revealed Schulze with a laugh, who already qualified the five-year-old Cornet-Obolensky son for the Bundeschampionat this summer. Philipp Schulze has also already taken on the eight-year-old Central Park by Casall and his nine-year-old half-brother Conditus and is now looking forward to the first rounds with the young star Quiwi Capitol by Quiwi Dream. "Ellerhoop and Klein Offenseth are close to each other, which is easy to combine," says Philipp Schulze, looking forward to working with the stallions and to the trust that Herbert Ulonska has placed in him.

Takashi Shibayama Haase leaves "with a laughing and a crying eye," as the 41-year-old confesses. "I'm looking forward to being self-employed and to working together with my partner in Ottendorf, but I'm also leaving a nice team and the horses here. I have learned a lot about the breeding business and how things work in a stallion stable, and that also increases my awareness of stallion offspring and breeding in general. The sport successes with Canstakko are also among my best experiences. In addition, I was able to make a lot of new contacts during these four years."

The stallion station Maas J. Hell wishes its outgoing head rider all the best for the upcoming challenges and success for the professional future.
