It was a surprise when one looked at the list of participants in the dressage on the occasion of the Maimarkt tournament in Mannheim. One sat: Bella Rose. The now 17-year-old mare had after a long time once again an appearance in a large arena.

"That was quite good for such a spontaneous performance, I am highly satisfied!" announced Isabell Werth. With a score of 79.957 percentage points, she came out on top in her usual manner in the Prize of the Liselott and Klaus Rheinberger Foundation.

"Actually I only wanted to take her for training, but then yesterday we decided to use her in the Grand Prix," Werth beamed.

Currently, the pair is ranked No. 1 in the world dressage rankings.

Stablemate Weihegold OLD ranks right behind "Bella," as the chestnut mare is called in the stable on the world ranking list.

Behind Werth, Aubenhausen's Jessica von Bredow-Werndl ranked with her mare Zaire in Mannheim.

Kronenberger Matthias-Alexander Rath then followed in third place with the 13-year-old stallion Foundation.

Tomorrow then takes place from 15:30 clock the absolute king class, the Grand Prix Special.
