"A successful live talk with interested Chinese customers," was Andreas Rubly's conclusion. It was also he who, together with his daughter Johanna, brought the world of bits closer to the Chinese customers for an hour and a half. The technical support and the video live stream to China were again in experienced hands with Anna Benkert.
The customers, primarily club owners and their riders, took part in the live talk via an app and were able to ask questions both via the microphone and in the chat. This offer was actively used.
Everything was explained, starting with the very "simple" bits, such as the double-jointed snaffle bit through to the Pelham and dressage double bridle.
Always in the foreground: The well-being of the horses. “Sometimes you can still tell that some riders believe that a sharp bit will make them an international top rider. But then we also said quite clearly that a different philosophy is being pursued here in Europe: the bit alone does not solve the problem of correct dressage riding in the long term,” summarized Johanna Rubly.
Especially the topic "How do I find the best bit for my horse and me?" triggered a lively conversation. By answering the questions of our Chinese customers in detail, it was made clear that there is no ONE SOLUTION.
The first requests for further live talks, especially on other topics such as saddles, buying horses, breeding or horse health, have already reached us from China. This shows how inquisitive the Chinese are when it comes to horse-related topics. "Of course we're happy to help and always refer to the EQUILEC encyclopedia articles, in which we have worked out the subject complexes."
As a conclusion, all that can be said is: A successful premiere, which, due to the positive feedback, will certainly not remain a one-off event!
