The 2008 Olympic champion, Eric Lamaze, has bought a new horse for his stable. The eleven-year-old mare Filippa K, formerly seen under Marcus Ehning.

The chestnut mare is no stranger. The For Contest offspring came to the world with Anne Knüsting. She collected her first successes at shows with the Canadian Tonya Knüsting. She also knows Eric Lamaze well, as he has already adopted horses from her several times.
In 2018, the switch to Marcus Ehning then took place. He contested the first international tournaments with the impressive chestnut mare. Here, too, the first successes were not long in coming. Ehning was always convinced by the mare. Her consistency at tournaments was also reflected in her successes. With Marcus Ehning, the mare already placed among the top 5 in the Youngster Tour on the occasion of the CHIO in Aachen. A year later, she won the Grand Prix of Groß Viegeln (CSI4*) together with him.
In 2020, however, a twist entered Filippa K's vita. Olympic champion Michael Jung was to climb into her saddle. Jung, a friend and student of Ehning, has already been able to take over horses from him several times. This included his successful mare in show jumping, fischerChelsea, with whom he has placed several times in international competitions.
The mare is also in success mode with Jung. Among other things, they have already placed at the World Cup tournament in Gothenburg in the frame jumping.

Now the mare is taking a new path. At the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Filippa K and Lamaze could show themselves with a clear round in the 145cm jumping.
Lamaze himself did not yet announce more specific plans for the mare.
One thing is for sure though, Filippa K is a mare to keep an eye on!
