Eight with poles and pylons

MEDIUM

Description

A pole is placed at any position inside the riding arena. At the end of the pole, one pylon is placed at a distance (approx. 1 meter) from each other. Now a figure of eight is ridden around each of the two pylons and the pole is crossed when changing from one to the other volt.

Tips and hints

The horse is switched from one direction of movement to the other on the center line, i.e. when crossing the pole. The distance between the pylons and the pole determines the size of the two voltes, so that the difficulty of the exercise can be varied over them.
