Münster: The Westphalian Stud Book experienced a real price firework this evening. Vamos Amigas, full sister to Cathrine Dufour's Vamos Amigos, broke the Westphalian price record. The filly was knocked down for 111,000 Euros. But not only the top price gave reason to celebrate. At the end of the evening, 27 of the riding horse foals on offer changed hands for an average of 15,407 Euros. The three riding pony foals cost an average of 4,000 Euros.

Vamos Amigos was the measure of all things in the arena at this year's CHIO in Aachen. With top results, he won all major dressage competitions under the saddle of Cathrine Dufour from Denmark. So it is no wonder that his full sister received a lot of attention in the auction lot of the Westphalian Stud Book with the head number 1. The attractive Vitalis/Hotline daughter (breeder and exhibitor: Noortje Radstake, Netherlands) stood already at a hammer price of 63,000 Euros before the final BidUp started. A total of 23 bidders fought in 87 bids for the favour of the strong moving filly. At the sensational top price of 111,000 Euros, she will in future be at home at a stud in Northern Germany.
Two auction candidates became the most expensive colts. The son of Totillah/Desperados (breeder: Werner Tepe, Hopsten; exhibitor: Maik Tepe, Hopsten) shone with a striking face and promising movement dynamics. He descents from the dam line of Grosso's Gentle, who successfully competed in World Cup qualifications under the saddle of Ellen Schulten-Baumer. Talotelli T changed to Bavarian ownership at the hammer price of 38,000 Euros. The same customers also bought four other young talents that evening. Also sold for 38.000 Euro was the head number 17 Sportsfreund (breeder and exhibitor: Willi Voges, Enningerloh). This movement artist from the first crop of the young stallion Secret Game descents from a rather jumping-oriented dam line. His dam, Verb.Pr.St. Rock my Lady by Rock Forever NRW, was also successful in tests for young dressage horses.

Besides the sensational top price of 111,000 Euros, the further course of this foal auction also gave much reason for celebration. 97 percent of the foals offered were sold at an average price of 14,267 Euros. The 27 riding horse foals sold achieved an average price of 15,407 Euros. For ten foals, the customers invested 10,000 Euros and more in their young hopefuls for the dressage ring. "I am very pleased that both breeders and buyers put their trust in us and I would like to thank everyone involved for the excellent course of this auction," said Auction Manager Thomas Münch, full of anticipation for the upcoming OnLive auctions on during the Westphalia Week in Münster-Handorf. The online auction continues next Monday with a lot of jumping foals. The collection of the 19 auction candidates is already available for viewing.
