For over 1.3 million euros, customers from all over the world secured their Oldenburg future star in Vechta shortly before Christmas. The Oldenburg breeding philosophy shines: The celebrated champion stallion Benefit from 2017 presented the two price tops.
For 190,500 euros, a young girl from Germany bought her Christmas present at the online auction in Vechta. The magnificent three-year-old Big Bang OLD by Benefit - Fidertanz - Rubinstein I, bred by the renowned Woldsee Stud in Bad Zwischenahn, Lower Saxony, comes from the world-famous Kateste dam line, as do numerous Grand Prix horses and Olympian Volturno.
Second price highlight with a knock-down at 99,000 euros was the three-year-old Bon Amour by Benefit - San Amour I - Ravallo, bred by Johannes Heinrichs from Heinsberg, North Rhine-Westphalia. Her dam, the Brillantring mare Mon Amour, was also discovered here in Vechta and is sister to the Intermediaire I winning Mondlicht by Sarkozy/Aline Bregenzer. Bon Amour will shine in an Olympic stable in Switzerland in the future.

The top priced youngster for 32,500 Euros was the Dominator grandson Calvin Klein by Casithargos-H - Dominator Z - Catano, bred by Horst Schlüsselburg, Stuhr/Lower Saxony. Dam Dorina S is sister to the 1.45 m successful I'm Infinity/Niclas Baule and Casino/Thomas Brandt. From the dam line comes the European Champion and Olympian Livius/Peter Luther. The powerful two-year-old jumper will move into the stable of a jumping enthusiastic rider not far from the Oldenburg Horse Center in Vechta.
The 8th Oldenburg Online Special Edition of the Oldenburg Verband was the crowning finale of a brilliant year. 10 of 45 auction candidates were bought by Oldenburg friends from abroad. In the future, they will bring joy in Sweden (2), USA (2), France (1), Mexico (1), Romania (1), Switzerland (1), Spain (1) and Hungary (1). The riding horses of the 8th Oldenburg Special Edition shone with an average price of around 35,600 Euros and a turnover of 1,103,500 Euros. The youngsters shone with an average price of 16,500 euros and achieved a turnover of 231,000 euros.
