New year - new horse! Westphalia starts the auction year 2023

Münster: The year 2023 has hardly started and the first riding horse auction of the year is just around the corner at the Westfälisches Pferdestammbuch. The Westphalian auction year 2023 will be opened by a promising lot of top-class riding horses and ponies. Around 50 future stars for the dressage ring or show jumping course are up for sale. The lot is completed by 30 youngsters for the highest demands. Great luck is only a click away!
The Westphalian Winter Auction 2023 will be opened by a very special horse. The now six-year-old Romance Edition has already been victorious and placed several times in elementary class dressage tests for young horses. His dam, Rocafina by Rock For Us, was herself highly successful in dressage and show jumping competitions up to medium (M) level. The successful dam also placed in international 2* eventing competitions. The sire of our auction candidate is Riptide NRW, who also comes from the same dam line. Exhibited by his breeder Bernhard Schulze-Sutthoff from Greven, Romance Edition is a promising young talent for the upper dressage sport.

The lot of dressage horses is completed by three talented riding ponies. These are for sale with the head numbers 13 to 15. First and foremost here is the Bundeschampion of 2019 DSP Glückskeks. The son of the Golden West/FS Champion de Luxe can now boast placings up to elementary class. With this young pony, nothing stands in the way of a successful start to the coming show season. Also the jumping auction candidates are in no way inferior to the dressage horses in quality. The nice daughter of Nixon van het Meulenhof/Limbus makes the start here. Nouvella comes from the highly successful dam line of Cool and Easy, who was successful with Marcus Fuchs for Switzerland. The mare herself already has placings in show jumping competitions for young horses.
The auction candidates moved into their stalls at the Westphalian Horse Centre on 9 January and have since been trained by the grooms of the Westphalian Horse Stud. Photos and videos of the auction candidates are already available on the online auction platform at onlineauction.westfalenpferde.de. Registered users also have access to current x-ray pictures and a veterinary examination protocol. Current training impressions were recorded on January 12th and 13th and are available for viewing at onlineauction.westfalenpferde.de. The training videos of the dressage horses were accompanied and commented by Christoph Hess. Bids can be placed on the auction platform from 19 January. The exciting BidUp starts on 22 January at 2 pm. Only one day later, the approximately 30 straight three-year-old youngsters will be up for sale. The final BidUp starts at 7.30 p.m. on Monday, 23 January. Bids for the youngsters can also be placed as early as 19 January.
Whether you are a competitive rider, an ambitious amateur or a leisure rider: With a four-legged partner from this winter auction, you will definitely have a good start into the year 2023.
