Actually, she wanted to compete at the CSI2* in Riesenbeck this weekend. Actually. Instead, Katrin Eckermann posted a video from the weekly market in Münster. What happened? Katrin Eckermann, recently mega successful as second in the Super Grand Prix in Prague, told spring-reiter.de. She broke her collarbone in a fall from her horse at the beginning of the week.
"It was at home jumping. The horse jumped off one canter too early," the German show jumping champion tells us. And adds bravely: "This side is broken the second time, the other side collarbone was already broken three times. That is already routine."
Now she has to take a break from competitions, but she doesn't know for how long yet. But in January she wants to compete again in Oliva, Spain. "Hopefully it will work out," hopes Katrin Eckermann.
