The auctions of the Holsteiner Verband are currently giving each other a run for their money. Just a few days ago, twelve top foals were auctioned off at the Waterkant farm, and now it continues seamlessly next weekend with the Holstein Highlight Sales. And that at the northernmost tip of Holstein. In Hörup, near the Danish border, ten selected foals and four talented young show jumpers will be waiting for their new owners on July 10 as part of the Springflut Festival with jumping up to advanced (S***) level.

In cooperation with the team of organizers led by show director Stephan Johannsen, Roland Metz, Managing Director of the Holsteiner Verband, has put together a lot that offers an interesting mix of offspring of young stallions and established sire stars for the customers. "I am happy that the Holsteiner Verband is involved in one of the most modern, national shows," says Roland Metz. "Together with passionate and experienced breeders, we have created this pilot project. I am sure that we complement each other well and that the cooperation is a win-win situation for all involved. I am looking forward to great days in Hörup," Metz continued. Clarimo, who has been successful on the international circuit under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, is producing three foals. In addition to their prominent sire, they all have one thing in common: Their pedigrees are secured in sport and breeding success Holstein mare lines - as is good custom in the land between the seas. For example, catalog number 6, a modern-looking colt from the 318D2 line. From the direct dam line, which has been cultivated for generations on the North Sea island of Föhr, come championship horses of great number - among them the much too early departed H&M Chilli Willi (Nicola Philippaerts), Glock's Cognac Champlanc (Gerco Schröder) or but Camiro (Tony Andre Hansen). If you are looking for a filly with the very finest genes, you might find what you are looking for in catalog number 10. She also descends from Clarimo. The figurehead of the Holstein jumper breed, Casall, is her dam's sire. But that's not all: Chepetta, who was successful in 1.60-meter jumping under Celine Schoonbrodt de Azevedo and Kevin Staut, comes from the same dam line as this offering.

Two foals are by the reigning Holstein state champion of six-year-old show jumpers, Crack by Cornet Obolensky. One of them has the Quidam de Revel son Quadros, the other Quibery by Quintero as sire. Also carrying Quibery on the dam's side is catalog number 1, a filly named Chique. Her sire is the Holstein Champion Stallion of 2019, Cahil by Cornet Obolensky, and on the dam's side follows in the second generation the Colman daughter Conella, who with Quabri, Uno I and II is the dam of no less than three licensed stallions as well as having produced Uno by Uriko, who is currently successful in the Youngster Tour over 1.40 meters under Lena Glisic. And those who like it international should take a closer look at catalog number 8, among others. This colt is sired by Patrick Stühlmeyer's Varihoka du Temple - the pair was on the longlist for the Olympic Games in Tokyo - and Numero Uno is on the dam's side. Variety Star, as the young athlete is called, has a number of prominent 1.60-meter show jumpers in his pedigree - including Quante (Nicole Persson) and Ambiente (Ali Yousef Al Rumaihi). The other foals are by Hardrock Z, I'm Special de Muze and Dubliner. If you are looking for a sport partner with whom you can get started in the current season, you will certainly find what you are looking for in the four riding horses in the collection. They are four and five years old and some of them have already had their first successes in competitions. The Colman daughter Jassina, for example, won a test for young show jumpers on her first public appearance.

For the first time, all auction horses and foals will be presented to the public on Friday, July 9, at 3:00 p.m., before the auction in hybrid format begins on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. The complete lot with videos, detailed information about the horses as well as all around the auction can be found at www.holsteiner.auction. In addition, Roland Metz (+49 171 4364651), Timm Peters (+49 172 4351781) and Thieß Luther (+49 172 540 2234) will be happy to advise you.
