Balance World Breeders' Association: Chacco-Blue remains the top sire jumping in 2022

The World Breeders' Federation WBFSH has presented the sire balance for the year 2022. Among the jumping sires, the first two places remain unchanged and Chacco-Blue continues to be the leading sire, followed by Diamant de Semilly in second place. For the first time in the top 3 jumping sires is Mylord Carthago in third place.
As always, the WBFSH Sire Rankings are calculated and fully verified against FEI performance data, providing an excellent indicator of how certain bloodlines are performing in performance breeding. The big message from this year's rankings is the consistency of quality and reliability in certain bloodlines, which have been consistently successful in breeding the world's best horses. One sees this confirmed especially in the jumping sires, where very little has changed in the top positions and Chacco-Blue continues his amazing run at the top since 2017!
New to the top 3 is Mylord Carthago, who has made great leaps in the rankings in recent years, from 25th in 2018 to 10th in 2019 and 4th in 2020 and 2021. Behind every great stallion is also a great dam, and Mylord Carthago is certainly no exception, as his dam Fragance de Chalus has produced no less than 10 international show jumpers at Grand Prix level and is the granddam of countless more.
