André Thieme's success story in the USA continues: Victory in the $100,000 Grand Prix

This is what a real start looks like for André Thieme on his annual USA Tour: On the grounds of the HITS Post Time Farm in Ocala, he immediately secured victory in the 100,000 dollar Grand Prix. Riding Conacco (by Conoglio), who has only been able to rest and relax since the December tournament in Geneva, the rider from Mecklenburg distanced himself from his competitors in the jump-off in Florida with a double zero. Second place went to the New Zealander Sharn Wordley on Mick Jagger, ahead of Katherine Brewer on Casido. André Thieme also had a reunion with an old partner, whom he had sold to the USA: The Holsteiner Cupertino (by Contender) also completed a clear round under his Argentinean rider Agustin Rosales, who had also purchased Voigtsdorf's Quonschbob from Thieme. The day before, the riders had warmed up in the 10,000-dollar jumping competition, the Post Time Classic, with a bit of re-investment for the travel fund: With his Oldenburg young hope Paule S (by Perigueux), he finished seventh in this small GP, also with a double clear.
